Inside the Workbooks

Explore Our Catholic Catechesis Workbook Structure

Faith Forward brings Scripture, Catholic teaching, discussion, activities and prayer together in one structured resource. Explore the Catholic catechesis workbook structure through real pages selected from five workbooks across the series.

Each Workbook Is Organised into Complete Sessions

Each workbook provides structured material for a full catechetical year. Its contents page shows the order of the topics and the number of sessions allocated to each one.

This Catholic catechesis workbook structure gives the year a clear sequence while allowing catechists to prepare one session at a time.

Every Session Begins with Clear Objectives

Each session opens with a short list of what the learner should understand. These objectives establish the purpose of the session before the teaching and activities begin.

Scripture, Teaching and Activities Are Presented Together

Scripture readings are printed directly in the workbook and supported by age-appropriate explanations. Learners then engage with the subject through discussions, written responses, picture-based exercises, tasks and other interactive activities.

The workbooks also draw from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, connecting each session with Catholic teaching.
